![]() Preferred experience in child or daycare.Physical stamina - working with children can be physically taxing, so Child watch workers should have a lot of energy.Instructional skills – Child watch workers need to be able to explain things in terms young children can understand.Patience - working with children can be frustrating, so Childwatch workers need to be able to respond to overwhelming and difficult situations calmly.Caring and compassionate attitude is a must.Create a positive and inclusive environment for all children.Escort children to restrooms for bathroom breaks.Deescalate upset children, including use of time outs, and getting parents if child cannot be comforted.Prepare and organize engaging and educational activities for children.Execute cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe.Check all children in and out every time they attend Childwatch.Ensure all children have a liability waiver, signed by the parent or legal guardian on file.Supervise and monitor the safety of children.Part-time positions available!
