But what does it actually mean? There are many definitions. Instagram and YouTube are flooded with self-care tips and ideas for better personal satisfaction. “Self-care” is currently a popular term that pops up in many online conversations. Find out more about this all-important topic and how to create a checklist that helps you stay healthy, happy, and resilient. Yet, self-care is vital for individual health. You are busy, running against the clock, trying to achieve as many goals as possible, or excessively surfing social media. Nowadays, practicing self-care isn’t so easy. So now it’s time to hold yourself accountable for your self care routine! And here are some tips to help you do that.Feeling tired, uninspired, or stressed out? This is your mind and body telling you that you need to take better care of yourself. But most of us have a hard time doing self care regularly because we don’t have the support needed to do so. If you have a friend or a family member that will hold you accountable to do self care, send them a photo of your filled out checklist. Next week you can add a few more and so on until self care is in your bones. And if you want to use the extra spots for that, by all means, please do!īut if you’re just starting out, I recommend picking 2-3 self care activities and adding just those to the list. This checklist has 11 spots for daily goals, and you can fill them in with very simple self-care items like making the bed, doing the dishes, taking a shower. ![]() But we do want to make sure to make reasonable goals to accomplish as this is all about little wins to help boost self esteem and positive mental health.
